Notaroll
A CLI that turns a single ABC notation file into a synchronized rolling-score video: modern engraved notation scrolling under a fixed playhead in sync with a realistic sampled piano.
Notaroll takes a single .abc file and renders a portrait-format MP4: a modern, minimal music score that scrolls smoothly under a fixed playhead in sync with a realistic sampled grand piano, with the currently-sounding note or chord highlighted.
Turning sheet music into a synchronized rolling-score video is a common need for music education and short-form content, but it requires solving the same hard problem every time — keeping notation and audio exactly in sync without drifting, and without sacrificing engraving quality or piano realism to get there. Notaroll solves that once, deterministically, from a plain-text source.
